Interpreting is the transfer of one spoken or sign language to another. It can be used in a wide range of settings, such as international conferences, business meetings, guided tours, trade shows, etc.
 

There are three modes of interpreting: Simultaneous, consecutive, and liaison interpreting.
Chuchotage (whisper interpreting) is an additional mode often used in conferences or official meetings.​
